SKUNK2 Lower Tie Bar Help

I just installed this yesterday. Can someone tell me if I should tighten the bar inward or out?

They make this for 4th gen?? Or is the same as the 5th gen bar? If so, cool!

So looking at these pics the sway bar is right in the way of it?

Will an aftermarket bar not be in the way? Gotta have my bling

Good thing. I don't think that would serve any other purpose.

off of those pics it looks to be the same way my strut tower bar works. Reverse thread so when you twist one way it will push the mounts apart and pull when twisted the other way.

Yeah it's virtually impossible to see with the sway bar in the way.

"MR.CLIFFORD" that "IS" how the bar works. Can you give any insight on which direction to tighten?

Ahh I see...The DC Sports bar bolts to the lower control arm pivot, the Skunk2 is bolted higher. That seems to be the problem...You can't bolt the Skunk2 to the same point as the DC?

you sure that skunk2 bar is in the right place? becasue the DC bar bolst on the lower control arm bolt.. where the Skunk2 bar bolted in the photos above will do even less than what the DC bar does..

Yeah I was thinking that too...it should be on the lower bolts shouldn't it? Skunk2 calls it a lower arm bar too.....

Well That's what I thought too. Skunk bar for (one) doesn't reach and (two) the predrilled holes are much smaller.

Believe me I tried and it pissed me off cause I had a hell of a time putting those bolts back in. If you look at the pic you can see where I sprayed WD40 on the lower control pivot.

Hmm that's a little weird...so in theory we could have both a Skunk2 bar and a DC sports bor on the car? That's pretty weird.

Maybe you should call skunk2?

Yeah, the Skunk2 bar really serves no purpose at all at that location. Even less "support" and you can't even see it. Do the ends screw out any to give you more length?

5th gen peeps say it must be installed wrong. I mean look at the Skunk2 logo...it's for the bling! They wouldn't do it if the Sway bar was right it the way now would they?

Even at the lower spot it's still gonna be hard to see.

I know the ends screw out.

Hapalude - Can you take the find out how long the end bolts are?
