skunk2 camgears - Honda Prelude Forum

should OEM timing belt and balancer belt be used with skunk2 camgears? will them still fit? and will the camgears shorten timing belt's service life? i ask about this is becuz according to a honda dealer receipt from the previous owner, the timing belt were replaced less than 10,000 miles (about 2 years) ago. and it's making noise again. does anyone know about this? thanks!!

Skunk2 cam gears are compatible and recommended to be used with an oem Honda timing belt.The Skunk2 gears are precision,hard anodized,and made of lighter weight 7075 alumimun.If anything your service life should be slightly extended with these gears!
