Skunk 2 Coilovers

What do you guys/gals think of these? Are they really good or would you suggest another company? If you have them can you please tell me about your experience with them.

Thanks

Skunk 2 is great. I've had them for 3 years now and still love them. I tried some Weapon R once and it sucked big time. It's like chopping your springs. Actually choping springs will be better then Weapon R.

Yeah, Skunk 2's are great. Get them.

Dude if your gonna make comments like this, atleast back em up eh.

I have Skunk2 and they work great if you just wanna cruise around in your car. But for hardcore autocrossing, the GC's have better spring rates to handle all the tossing around.

Peace

I had mine for almost a yr now with KYB AGX shocks. Ride quality is ok, a little bit stiff on a 1.75" front drop and 1" rear drop. Overall I'm happy with it.

skunk2 is.....ok. i have them. ride isnt the best, but u get use to it. i have skunk2 w/ tokico blues. you will need a camber kit (most coilover ppl do). my advice is to save ur money and get something better (tein, apexi, etc....)

well there is no way i can afford the tiens anytime soon. i am about to do some major motor work and need to spend most of my money on that. but for now, i am thinking about the Skunk2 Coilovers or the Ground Control Coilovers.

Any suggestions? Which one should I get?

Thanks

lets add this up: skunk2 or gc- $400?
u'll need shocks...lets say tokico...$400?
and a camber kit...$200

lets jus say $1000 w/ everything installed. with about another $100, u can get teins. thats what i did, and i wish i would have thought it out. with skunks or gc, sooner or later u'll need shocks and camber kit, teins or apex u should be set. jus a thought

GC is more like $320 on GBC skunks are $300...and you'll need a camber kit if you lower the same amount on Teins or Apex-i anyways. So its more like Teins for $1100 or skunks and shocks for $700. Big price difference.

i would totally disagree on spending large amounts of money on getting teins or apex and you dont even race your car (circuit race), i say if you're planning to do some circuit racing or road race, then its wise to buy those but if you gonna buy teins and stuff like that just to showoff for street, be smart, and go with the skunk2/GC and some good shocks i.e. kyb agx adjustables...not worth investing that much money on something that will not actually put to use for....thats just me....
