side marker (corner light) housing replacement

When I bought my Prelude I noticed that the corner light housing for the driver's side of the car was looking pretty awful. On a scale of 1-10 in terms of how much it irritates me, I'd give it about a 30. I was debating on where to get a replacement. I'd kind of like them to be more clear like the headlight housing, but I don't want to buy them off of ebay or something and have them not fit correctly. An OE replacement is also around 60 dollars just for one housing, so I'd like to avoid paying a ton for just one as well. Does anyone know where I can:

a. buy a replacement housing for a reasonable price
b. Buy completely new housing for both sides that fit correctly

any help would be great

Or just take that one off and use a little glue on the seal to hold it on. That right there would take care of most of the issue I see.

Buy a used OEM set on ebay and call it a day. I see them sometimes go for 15-30 bucks for the pair. You can get lucky and buy them for even less.

Avoid aftermarket replacements, they don't fit right, they can leak and crack overtime due to weather conditions. OEM will last longer and fit better.

I'd just save up and get the 1 piece, they look so much better.

^ +1 what he said.

I went outside and compared to my oem corner lights. It looks like your corner light is also OEM judging by the silver outline on the inside. You have the entire outer lens missing.

I kind of like the one piece idea. I called the 2 largest junk yards near where I live asking for the parts I need to replace and the larger one only had the side marker on the passenger side =(. Any opinions on brands for one pieces? I'd rather not just pick one randomly off of eBay and hope it fits

stay away from aftermarket, replicas or anything counterfeit. These look cheap, horrible quality and have fitment issues. No matter what anyone says about aftermarket headlights, just ignore them.

Buy your self a set of Genuine JDM Honda one piece headlights. You will spend more money but in return you will get a superior quality product. They say STANLEY on the lens and on the back of the headlight. Make sure you ask any seller that claims they are real if the lights say STANLEY. These lights came on all 4th gen Preludes in Japan. They are available in 2 versions, chrome or black housing.

They are a direct fit, but the installation is a bit different due to plug differences and bulbs. There are many write-ups on how to install them and many people on this forum have done this so they should be able to help you do this.

chrome housing

black housing

I'll probably save up for the black housing ones in the near future. As of now my money is going to repainting my car and its cosmetic wound =/
