si wired for vtec? (different;-)

this is not the question if the engine is wired for vtec but rather is my si sound system wired for the vtec 6x9 sub? if i bought some 6x9 could i install it like it was factory?

heh.. I know they are wired for the tweeters in the front, but I dunno about the 6x9.. they aren't that great anyway.

MY SI had tweeters in it when I got it. As far as plug and play I haven't seen a wire run back to run it. I have had my entire interior out and haven't seen it. I may be wrong.... there isn't even a spot to put the 6x9 unless you change your rear seats to the VTEC. In that case I would suggest putting an amp to it. Better sound.

are u talking about the jdm center ones? cause i have tweets on the sides that work, but for the 6x9 i was just going to find some 6x9 not exactly the honda one... im just wondering if the mounting brackets are there, im guessing, but im not sure, that there is a spot on the factory wireing harness to run wire from.???

Well you need #13. Doesn't look like you can order it cause it isn't on the lower price chart. That shouldn't be in your SI rear center console. You will have to replace it.
