I know autos suck at launching and getting rid of it is the best performance mod you can do to your lude(without sacrificing engine life that is). I would say around .75-1.25 sec in difference between an auto and a manual, stock for stock. BTW I'm also doing the swap this coming winter. got any pics of the swap? I pretty much get the idea behind it all, but do you have any suggestions/recommendations that will help me when the time comes? And if everything goes well (and sticks to his promise), my boy's bro is opening up a performance shop business next month and he's gonna do it for free. If not Brendon, Alan and Ryan will just have to help me out, right guys...remember you owe me (LFW 2002).
The best thing I have done is just take my time. I have been getting parts for the past 3 months. I'm not doing the swap myself. I have a shop that did my tranny swap in my 454 chevy doing it. 200 bucks labor and I trust the guy that is doing it. He told me I can help out/take pics so I already bought the camera. I figure it will be less of a headache to pay someone else to do it.

Well this isn't the first time I've dealt with these guys. They are cool as hell. And I have sent them tons of business so they are giving me the hookup.

I can call around. The place where I am getting the 5 speed swap is just into transmissions. I have some other connections that can do the H22 swap and they do kick a$$ work. I will call them Tuesday cause I know they are closed Monday and let you know.
