Well, untill an hour ago, i was the driver of a 1992 Honda Prelude Si (im 16, its my fathers car, my Eagle Scout gift). after looking through the file of paperwork for the car from purchase, i was looting at the title and other offficial documents and noticed that it is not a Type Si, but rather a Type Si-R! The only thing i know is that this is probably better than an Si, but how much? if anyone knows i'd like to know what this includes from the Si or other '92's. Thanks!
Umm...If it's an Si-R it would be right-hand drive. Si-R was never offered in the states. Maybe you can scan the documents and show proff...I'm not saying that you're lying.
in 92 some of the titles were printed with SiR. I know for sure, cuz i previosly owned one. I thought it was better and it was! I dont know how, but it was. Anyway their is a SiR, but it will only say that if the car is a 92 and it is exaclty the same as a Si. But more power to ya.

actually the SiR in japan didn't come with the 220ps (Type-S) motor. the SiR was just like our 5th gen base model. the SiR S spec was the one with the 220ps motor and OEM LSD.
just don't want any misinformation running around here
Don't worry, I'm not an exterior person, my money goes under the hood. Why get stickers? I'd rather keep 'em guessing ! Thanks for the info guys. BTW there was a SiR 4th gen made, I just don't have one! Keep up the Prelude'in!
