Si header selection (f22b?)

I'm planning on a new/used header soon and it seems the overwhelming majority say DC is the way to go for us H23 people. I've also seen a few ppl mention that the dohc F22B can use the same header as the H23. So what i'm wondering is are there any good JDM headers made for the F22B that perform well? just trying to figure out if there's another option besides the DC for the H23.

yes, the head on the JDM F22B is the same as the USDM H23A

they are mix and match if you want to think that way, but in reality it IS the same head.

oh yeah, i got a cheap "DC header" from ebay for about $150 and i could feel a definite increase.....if the cheap crap ones do that then whoah....it pulls crazy-like after 5k

honestly i havent looked into it. i went to a shop they said the only one they carried was a DC Sports.....i doubt he was looking at the right thing. I don't get into the whole JDM thing much even though I do have a JDM motor. I don't know where to start looking for JDM stuff. Someone was talking about a SMSP (i think) header on H-T and on here that was supposed to produce massive gains, but I'm not sure as to whether or not that fell through. Many people dont make headers for the H23, but that is the US. I'm sure many JDM companies make ones for the F22B that I have yet to find. I'll take my header off this weekend and take some pics when i repaint it.

if the heads are the same, why do you need one SPECIALLY made for the F22? Just buy a header made for the H23.

i dont need one specially made for the F22... im just wondering if they make some for the F22 that most H23 guys overlook.... maybe an F22 header might perform better than those said to be available for the H23 since we all know none of the H23 headers are overwhelmingly great (with exception to maybe SMSP or such)

all im trying to do is broaden my options, thats it.

understandable, but I'd imagine you're SOL, considering the the S was at the butt-end of the performance line, I mean, I'm not even aware of a header made for the Si and not the VTEC, it's more of a backwards compatible situation.

They are not talking about the S model engine. They are talking about the JDM equivalent of the H23 but in the mid level cars in Japan.

My bad, saw F22 and didn't read on. But really, it doesn't matter, it's still second or third best, depending on which market, Japan domestic or US import. Basically F22 to H22 in Japan, the argument would apply to H23 to H22 here in US ... you know any headers made specially for the H23 but not the H22?
