SI 4WS to a VTEC swap?

I am thinking about buying this 1993 Si 4WS....i had a few questions....if i do an engine swap to vtec...will the 4ws still work?...also is it possible to find older engines like from a 93 or 94...so that i wouldn't have to worry about the new OBDII problems after mods? And one more question....This car is an auto...when i do the engine swap...how hard will the tranny swap be? What would the cost be roughly for the labor of doing the tranny and engine swap?

Thankx a lot guys you all are a great help!!!

You can put an H22A in a 4ws no problem, and the 4ws will still work. As for the rest...somebody that has done it should be able to give you more info.

Have you already bought it? If not i suggest staying away from an auto, for the money its gonna cost you you could just wait a while until a better prelude is on the market.

Buy it.

Swapping a VTEC motor into a 4WS car is Exactly like swapping it into an Si. The 4WS has its own Standalone computer.
No Differance.

But the tranny swap is still a pain.
