Very interested in this. How do these things mount? Do the gutters on top work for this?

Whats the parts list for the yakima pictured?

Thanks

This thread should have been titled: "Show me your racks!"

DeyAinRdy4Ds, just go on the yakima.com site and pop your car's info in...it will tell you what you need.

el baby, with my Yakima on my 5th gen, I can open the moonroof, but not all the way. It will hit the rear cross bar, and I use the stretch kit to get that cross bar as far back as possible. If I moved it back a bit more, I could probably open the moonroof the whole way. But I usually just pop the moonroof open just a bit anyway, never the whole way. It looks like the 4th gen might have even less space...maybe greenlude will chime in.

I believe all the towers are the same. Its the clips that change car to car. Why are you getting a rack? what are you going to use it for? IF your just getting it to look cool, dont waste your money. I believe new from REI I paid about $550.

It also drops my MPG down to about 22-23 MPG. I dont keep it on my car unless I'm using it.

Correct. I can tilt my sunroof up and move it back about 3-4" before it hits the crossbar.
