I strive for both

I do something for "go" or suspension...

then something for the exterior or interior...

then back to "go" etc..

Its funny, It used to be only "show" on my mind before I got my Lude, once I got it and learned more...i got into "go" more..was worried about how well she could perform, handle etc...but I still need to be different and stand out..so show will always be a requirement too

umm since i drive an auto si, and you have to spend a ton of money for the lude to go fast, im more into show. Trying to make it fast leads down the road of disappointment and frustration(ie:turbo kits that dont get gains like theyre supposed to.) Im waiting till i can get an m3 in a few years to go fast.

Show. You can't be the fastest, but you can be the most furious. What I mean by that is that you will never be able to beat everything, unless you have a whole lotta money laying around. For a hellof a lot cheaper you can make your car look great, then your engine can look great, etc.

Much agreed Ever since I took my 17's off (for a flat and two bald tires), my car looks more stock. The only thing that gives me away now is my c/f hood & my exhaust. Other that that, it's sleeper time.

wtf is the point of having a car that looks fast but isnt??? must be nice to have a $5K paintjob and bodykit and ridiculous rims, only be able to drive it on the most beautiful days, and when a neon revs on you you cant do **** about it!!! BWAHAHAHAHAHA

ill trade all the thumbs-ups from ricer-wannabees on the sidewalks for the look on a guy with a mustang's face when you rev on him thenlet him take the holeshot, flip the switch and go flying past him... remember the name of the movie is the FAST and the furious... not the SLOW and the DOCILE....wouldnt have been much of a movie if Vin Diesel was driving an automatic neon...

I'd rather have both, but in the end if you want a 12 second car it's cheaper modding something else.

Outside of I/H/E, I'm focusing on some of the cheaper parts for show and working on suspension.

I'm also aiming for some computer / cam gear upgrades for Spring of 2002.

sure its cheaper to mod something else, but preludes are rare, and fast ones are even rarer.... every civic owner wishes he had a prelude... we all know this... but to have one that looks this damn good stock and have it turning mid 13's...... butter
