I recently ordered a H22 from a company in oregon who told me 2800 shipped for everything. I sent them like $1500 to hold it for me for a month. When I called them last week they told me that the price they gave me was for a tranny without LSD and now they are saying $3800. Do you guys think I should still go ahead with it?
Wait, dont most places sell H22 swaps for like $2500? www.jdmhondaparts has them for $2400 and I think LSD is $300 more. I see them go on ebay all the time for around the same price. It seems a little high to me by maybe a few $1000. . .do you know what the milage is on it?
I just checked out that site Red92s and that seems like the way to go. Everything is included except for USDM wiring harnesses which will be needed on our left hand drive cars.
It doesn't mention anything on the site how much the optional LSD is though. Where did you get $300 from, is that just a guess? That price doesn't include shipping as well.
When they say that the LSD is optional, does that mean if you choose to order an LSD they install one in a regular tranny or is it the true JDM tranny with the factory LSD?
It sounds like this way still might be cheaper. If at all possible Sigrl, I would try to get my deposit back and give jdmhondaparts a call.
Good looking out red92s, now I know where I can get a long block if my engine ever decides to quit on me.
That was just the first site that came to mind. . .it might not have been that exact seller with $300 LSD's, but I assume they would be similar. There was a thread about places to buy engines a few days ago, let me dig it up. . ..
Well, cant seem to find it. You can try hondamotorsonline.com also, they gaurentee that all the sensors work when you get the engine. $2400 for a complete swap, no LSD. I just cant seem to remember where I saw the $300 LSD option. Sorry.
