Should I sell my lude?

Im really thinking about getting a gen 5 lude and going for the mugen kit and going turbo, after crusing around with a friend who has a gen 5 mugen prelude this makes me wonder if i should sell my car and get a newer lude what do you guys think?

You want to get a car that looks just like your friends?

If I'm not mistaken, aren't you the guy with the gorgeous show lude?

I know 5Gs look phat with the mugen kit, but your car is more rare.

Let me shed some light on this dilemma.
I luv my 4th gen lude very much and it is paid off. I own that b!tch and sometimes we have our ups and downs but I still luv her.
Sometimes I really want to get something else but I have to think about the monthly payment. Did I say I hate making payments!!!

Say you do decide to sell the car, how do you know the car will be well taken car off. I mean you car is the sh!t and I figure you will probably be paying about $250 a month for a 5th gen and Lord knows for how long.

Instead of making those payments, I will rather just use that money to fix up the car like new paint job, swap whatever I want to do.

Argueable - not sure about the spelling - that a new car looks, smell and feels good, u already have a great car.

If you really want a new car just drop in an Sir Type S engine

If you arent still making payments on your 4th gen...then just buy a 97 with around 50k miles and keep your current car. The payments wouldnt be TOO horrible and you could have the best of both worlds. Or if you are just looking for speed...do the typical hatch/b18c1/turbo combo. Its fast, relatively cheap, and hatches are kewl anyways.

I wish I could have both, but seeing these clean looking 5th gens are very tempting, yes my car is going under an H22 swap at the moment, but for now its just something in the back of my mind to do, im still not sure, I even went to the dealer to look at what they had left for new 5th gens, but as I said its in the shopping process

Keep your car!! It looks so good, and you've put all your energy and money into it. 4th gen styling OWNS the 5th gen.

So do you want to be like everybody else or do you want people to look at your car? You do realize that if you get a 5th gen, until you fix it up, not a damn person is going to notice you. They'll be like, oh another 5th gen. Right now your car makes a statement.

Don't do it Nick! Keep your car...it's one of the sickest 4th gens I have ever seen. But if you do sell it, wait till I come to Calgary in April so I can at least see it in person (and you have to give my gf a ride too! heehee). After all the hard work you have put in on this car, a 5th gen just won't cut it.

I was going to think of something clever to say, but this sums it up. Every 5th gen guy out there has a "CLEAN" ride, w/ the most JDM, Type S stuff you can find. It's a harder line to walk, creating a 4th Gen that most people drool over, like your project. Keep the 4th gen.
