Someone offered me 8K for my 94 VTEC Prelude. As is....
My car currently has 225,000 miles on it... (yeah, I know) but has invested over 15K in mods... (with 4 different stereo system in the last four years, its not hard) And the car has been out of the body shop with a fresh coat of S2K Metallic Silver Paint.
And I spent another hefty bunch with the JDM one-piece, Clear Armour (3M Stoneguard) SPW HID Kit, and Exedy Clutch...
Just looking for advise... I still like the car a lot. But also want something quicker
Ken

Ken, if you sell your car, wanna swap me the JDM's for my stock and the Greddy PE for stock? Haha.. I wouldn't sell your car for 8k... I'm sure someone will pay at least 9-10k for it. I got my 93 VTEC (all stock) last Sept. with 75k miles for 8,800. You can get a better deal.
it all comes down what else u gonna get...i know you spent alot of money on your car but there comes a time when a new project has to start...if i had the chance to sell my prelude for something newer in all honesty i would...plus i know youve had your car alot longer than i have...and im comin up on 4 years...

your car is hott...i like the new GTS but your car is 100 times better than a stock GTS...plus from the looks of it you probally spent more money on your lude than the cost of her car anyway

Im also interested, is it the same as the 3m bugguard? Do i always drive with it on? I cant find info on these paint protectors anywhere.
3M Stoneguard basically works like window tint. The film is measured and cut with the use of computers and then carefully applied like window tint.
Its not 100% against rocks, but it does proect the body from everyday rock chip abuse. I currently have a few chips, but its all on top of the film; not on the paint.
They're not cheap though....
$400.00 for parts, another $500.00 for labor = $900 total
Here's the area that it covers:
3M Stoneguard (front bumper, hood, fender, headlights, bumper lens, front lip, rear bumper, door handle, side skirt, gas cap, side mirrors)
