Should I get the sticker?

Hey guys,

Ever since I finished my JDM H22 swap I have been debating getting the "DOHC VTEC" sticker from Honda to put in the OEM location. I am not sure, I like the sleeper effect of no sticker but I also love seeing that sticker.

Should I get it?

Thanks,

i like the clean look, just saying prelude is good enough and let people guess what you have under the hood.
don't flaunt your vtec and be a show-off cause that's just lame

So VTECs that came with the sticker should be removed because it's "lame?"

I like my sticker.

Also, his car is not originally a VTEC. But it's still the VTEC engine.

Get it!

hell, if i had a V-TEC motor in mine......DAMN, i would get the sticker!!!!! I love the sticker! It makes the car look more intimidating in my opinion. Riceboys would respect the car more....maybe. ex: "man, you REALLY have V-TEC?" "yeah man, it's pretty quick, not that fast though....you have v-tec?" "nah man, i got the 'vtec inside' sticker because it's cool"

I don't see why not; I'm not about to take my "DOHC VTEC" sticker off my bumper because some people might think it's ricey or whatever (BTW, my car is originally a VTEC model; but if I swapped into an H22 I'd still get it). If anything, it spreads awareness of VTEC.

Do what makes u happy... !! I had an Si and riced out my car before and put the VTEC sticker b/c it made me happy until my friends told me i was a mofo'in ricerboy so someone rear ended me and it was forced to come off.. now i've replaced the prelude emblem with a spoon sports emblem.. which makes me happy! Do what makes u happy and enjoy your car more! If u like it... do it!

Yeah, I really love that sticker on the 4th gens. Every time I see a 4th gen (not very often) I almost give myself whiplash looking for the sticker as it passes. One other concern I would have is the slight increase in the cars risk of being stolen. I don't really think many car theives would be more or less inclined to try and steal it with or without a VTEC motor. (I say try as it would take a tow truck to make my car move without authorization )

I think I will just get the thing and if I don't like it, it can always come off again.

Thanks for the input guys,

go for it if you want to.

I've still got my 2.0i sticker on the back of mine

I'm going to get the DOHC one, just debating which color to spray my car first...

PS. I agree with the stolen comment, thats why I'm thinking of going stealth and just having a Prelude emblem

I think the only sticker worth having is the Electronic 4WS if your have 4WS. Then again, I love 4WS so I am biased

Get it if you can justify paying what, $15-20 for it. I was considering getting it for my car, original VTEC model (previous owner removed the sticker), but I just can't pay that much for a sticker.
