Looks like it has been taken care of and the tires look pretty new..

If there aren't any problems, I would say you would be one lucky sob if you get it for $3,600

make sure its a clean title, ask for service records...namely the timing belt was done and possibly clutch...check out the brakes as well...otherwise, those things will just bring ur cost back up to $5k or so...

I car faxed it and it has a clean title. He is the third owner and has had the car for only 2 years from 125000miles to where it is now. Apparently during his ownership he has not changed the timing belt nor water pump and says the engine pulls strong and the clutch shifts nice. Most of these things will be worked out during the test drive but otherwise should I close the deal? Id kick myself if i can find a car with fewer miles for the same price.

Ask him if the owner before him changed the timing belt if not then I would suggest you getting it done asap!!

Man, if he had only posted that three days sooner, I would've bought it....and it's the color I wanted, too.

are you in a rush to buy a 4th gen?... if you're not.. then try to find a VTEC model instead.... I was waiting to find a VTEC model for a couple of months... then I said fawk it and bought a 93 Si... and a few days later.. I looked on the autotrader (b/c I was bored).. and I saw 3 VTEC models for sale.. I was pissed.. so yea..

Im not in a rush but the peace of mind of a 1 owner, rust free, very clean lude, makes up for not having the vtec engine. For 3600 even if i could get a 4th gen vtec i doubt it would be as clean, already have a couple of owners, more miles, and prob beat on much more being that its a h22. What kinda of mods would it take to get the si on par with a h22 anyway?
