Short shift converter

I am wondering if I should get the short shift converter for the 4G lude. Does it really make the shift throw faster?

how fast it is, is up to how fast you can shift. short shifter make the throw shorter. I have a Neuspeed short shofter, on top of that I also have cut my shifter 1.75" off and i am going to cut another inch off. DC, and Neuspeeds are adaptors. not a shorter shifter. a company called C's made a tru short shifter, that is disconituned, you can probably find it tho if you search hard, but they aren't cheap. they carry a hefty price tag. $250-300 Not worth it IMO.

Mine is dremeled off about 1.5"'s. The stock height feels odd now.
