which shocks should i get?

i lowered with neuspeed race springs... 2.25 front and 1.75 rear. i'm wondering which shocks i should get. i was looking at KYB AGX adjustable gas shocks but i heard it won't work since i'm lowered over 2 inches in the front. is that right? i was also looking at KYB GR-2 s but they are not adjustable... but cheaper... can someone please help me decide or make any suggestions? thanks...

You void the warranty on AGX's if you go lower than 1.5 inches... so those are out.

^^^I agree. I had my car dropped lower than 2" for a long time, over 3 years, and they held up fine. BUT, if you drive on very bad roads, like I did for most of those 3 years, your konis stand a good chance of blowing...you'll blow pretty much anything if you're low enough, long enough, on bad roads.

Tokicos are cool. I've been in a few cars w/ the Tokico blues...not too shabby, and they're super affordable. I've never had them in my car, so I can't give much opinion on them, but I have had the yellow Konis, and liked them, until I blew the fronts. Now I have Tein SS's, and am quite happy. Yes, the Konis are adjustable, in stiffness & in ride height. I think it's 6 levels in front, and 5 in back, if I remember correctly. Maybe TurboEvo can hook you up w/a good price on either the yellows or the tokicos...not sure though.

Peace,
J

Koni/Neuspeeds have 5 perch settings so you can adjust you hight buy 1/4 increments, and they are adjustable on the dampening force as well. Also the shaft is a little shorter to adjust for lowered/shorter springs. I use the Koni/Neuspeeds
