shocks for the lude

Need suggestions for shock spring combination for my 92 lude.

Don't want to lower it much and want to maintain the smoothest ride possible. Reliability and longevitiy is a must. Is stock the best way to go?

What is your budget? How mechanically inclined are you? Could you install these yourself?

If you want the smoothest and longevity, pretty much stock is a good thing. But you can always upgrade and get some decent OEM replacements or slightly better.

^ +1

also, if you are installing it yourself, do lots of research and buy the right ones you think fit you best, not because of budget. There's nothing more unsatisfying then installing the new setup to find you hate it, but then too lazy to swap it out again. A lot of hats go off to the koni + gc combo.

Check out ntpog for their install write up, it's the one I used, excellent write up

I like my neuspeed sports (1.7" front, 1.5" rear)... I almost got H&R sports (1.3"), I think eibach prokit are not quite as stiff (if you like that).

I have my NS on kyb agxes... i like them, but if I hadn't been trading my h23 to get them, I would have gotten koni yellows..

If you can afford the konis, put them on any nice sport spring and you should be good to go. I would advise definitely getting h&r if you go agx as I think my NS sports drop the agxes a bit more than is good for them.

Good luck.

Has anyone tried monroe sensatrac on oem springs? the agxes would do fine on oem springs, but you get a little adjustibility.
