Shock knock in rear!

Yes i did a search and couldnt really find a direct answer. My car creeks and sounds like a ice maker really bad when going at slow speeds when u hit any kind of bump or crevice. Is this my shocks? Or I also read that there is some kind of bolt i can tighten up to get rid of it?

Im really trying to do the little things to my car, i got the brake lamp light to go away and the stained water spots out of my rear view mirror so its coming along and fixing this would be like the final touch.

Dunno about your car, but mine creaks real bad. Turns out that my right rear shock is leaking, so I am going to get some KYB GR2s to fix the problem for now.

I like the icemaker analogy. Mine's the same way, and I'm lowered about 2.5" I'm due for a severe suspension overhaul, but can't afford it right now. Problems, problems...

there used to be a webpage that showed a cure but now its not linking. Basically the guy suggested taking off the top part of the rear towers (don't know much about suspension so I can't be more specific than that) and then he put 2-3 extra washers on the top of it after taking off the top nuts, etc. Supposed it worked but I've never heard of anyone else trying it.

You're welcome for the very specific answer
