Shipping on a Longblock

Hey guys,

Well I decided about a week ago to get the H22A swap and use my Si tranny. Furthermore I decided that Hmotorsonline is the place I am going to pick up my Longblock. The guy (Steve) quoted me $200 for the P13 ECU with the engine.

As for shipping, the salesman quoted me $250 to ship the whole shabang to Redmond, WA. Luckily my dad is a Hydraulic Salesman/Engineer and is used to shipping large and heavy things. He is going to hook me up with his shipping company for $143 to his buisness. We then put the pallet in the back of his F250 and bring my baby home

Here is how my pricing is looking:

LB: $1200
ECU: $200
Shipping: $143

Total: $1543

Tax return due: $1612

Just thought I'd share.

Nevermind I am an idiot. Actually the money you get in the return is yours. They are just giving it back.

You pay tax then they give it back, why pay it anyway...

In the UK, you get a tax return if you've overpaid during the year.

That's how is works here too. The reason I am getting so much back is that I can claim the money I spent on tution during the year as tax credits and get it back.

Don't you need the H22 engine harness?

The longblock comes with the harness still attached. You can't use the JDM one though. I am just going to use it to get the VTEC solenoid and oil pressure sensor and use my Si harness for the rest. If I could find a USDM harness from a 4th gen I would be very happy but that is NOT likely.
