On my 93 Si, i am starting to have problems shifting into first. I have to apply a lot of force to shift, compared to before. Any remedies?

check your fluid.

Or the syncrho's might be going bad?

is it while ur still slowly rolling?

i heard its some sort of safety that doesnt let u shift to first if ur going too fast. dont know how true that is.

my 93 Si does it too

i doubt it would be syncros cause he would have to have it above 4thousand rpm going into first. i dont think it lets you do that either. btw i blew i syncro between second and third anyone know how much they are to fix?

I have a problem occasionally putting it into first from a dead stop, usually I just have to try again or let the clutch out a little or push the gas a little. I am not too concerned with it, it happens maybe 3-4 times a week and I put over 500 miles on a week.

I've got a similar thing happenning in my '94 Si. It definitely happens when I'm rolling but sometimes it won't let me shift while I at a light. Releasing the clutch and trying again usually takes care of it...

I am gonna check the fluid sometime soon.
