www.hondaautomotiveparts.com

lists them for $267.38

they're not a cheap part to buy or have replaced. Talk to 'Lucke', he just replaced his.

Oh wow been there one and thought twice (second time it was a bracket)!!!

I went used off a 90k mile lude for 125 (whole assembly boot and all)

But www.majestichonda.com is roughtly the same price, or was at least when I was buying one 2 years ago.

your best bet is to find a pick and pull yard and see if they have a lude there with a 5spd to take it from.. but most of the time.. those cables have been rapped because the yard pulled the engine and trans and just cut the cables

so i guess the next best thing is to try and find a person parting out there lude.. i know on honda-tech there are a couple people..the one i was looking at was a white 4th gen down south

yeh, it's spongy when i put it in any of the forward (1st, 3rd,5th) gears, like the cable's no longer stiff enough to push it in. you can push the shifter forward, even without the gates open, and just wait for it to click into gear, but i can't feel a positive shift right away, and often mis shift during spirited driving. i've though of the pull-a-parts, but with the 4th gen aging, i'm not too keen on any cables having a much longer life than mine left, either. thanks for the help, guys.
