Spoon aluminum shift knob. Lightweight, looks good. Fits really good in the palm of your hand. Just gets a little cold from time to time.

that above oen doenst look like it would go so flush .. unless theres something i dont know about changing boots/nobs ?

i emailed the guy who's selling it...
does anyone have momo shift knobs? do you guys have any problems which the knob and the boot's not connected like they should be? 'cuz my friend has aftermarket knob in his civic and the shiftboot is not connected to the knob... it's just hanging there and i don't wanna get it if this one's gonna be like that... that just look ... ***...

The reason that the stock knob flushes with the boot is that it has a plastic piece (sort of like an adapter) right below the knob and it makes it flush with the boot. Most aftermarket knobs don't have that and you need 3 screws to attach to the shifter unlike the stock knob that is threaded onto the shifter.

Some people solve the problem by using tie wrap.

I have the red version of that (no CF). The red part is starting to chip off, and to me it is sort of ugly, but it fits my hand well and doesn't get cold or hot with the weather.

i just received forbidden's short shifter... we're gonna working on my manual swap tomorrow and probably gonna go with that momo shift knob. but i hope the cf part doesn't come off... the only thing i was worried about was that the knob looked kinda big... but Cashis said it fits his hand well... so i'm guessing it's just the pic...
