anyone have any idea where I can find a shaved carbon fiber trunk?
everyone just seems to have the OEM style

I'm not sure, I was planning to decide how much I wanted one based on how much I could get one for. Ideally I'd like to find one for around the same price as the other OEM ones....of course cheaper is always better

If you want to make the trunk lighter just take that off, or if you are going for looks just shave the stock trunk. Anyway 20 seconds spent on google yielded this:

Prelude exhaust, Prelude intake, Prelude coilover, Prelude turbo, Prelude carbon, Prelude header

I said a shaved carbon fiber, not an OEM style. and I googled and searched quite a bit before posting the thread. also are you referring to the OLD supra style wing I had?? it was replaced with a much lighter touring wing. I'm not going for weight reduction here, I'm going for strength / structural integrity. lastly...if you actually paid attention to any of the pics, you'd see my stock trunk is already shaved.

Well since there isn't one probably available, it's going to be custom.

So yeah, I'd say $2000 just for fun.

I sold mine....one of them atleast. The other one with the lsd h22 works fine, but it makes an odd sound just above 5,000rpm

what I learned a long time ago was to not listen to other people. the coincidence is, I think the stock look is the best for the prelude, but lowered about an inch with a 5 lug swap and either ray's wheels or 5th gen base wheels.

like I said before, I don't like the mods, but that's just me. What's under the hood?

If you want a shaved CF trunk....search more online. I'm not sure if they make them - I know at one time they were making CF panels for the prelude. You may have to get it custom.

all of my mods are listed on the cardomain page. most of them so far have been suspension. the motor is pretty much ready for boost though. I replaced the pistons and rods, put arp bolts in, just don't have a turbo or anything to put on it yet

yeah, I did search quite a bit online. all I was able to find were the OEM ones

just save the money and go with the turbo and tune. most people who get CF (that I have seen around here atleast) get it for show. If there's nothing wrong with the trunk lid, keep it.
