i think i have a problem with my suspension but i still dont know what it is.. when i brake or am coasting on neutral everything is fine but when im accelerating at any time i feel like im in a human salt chaker, i dont thiNk iTs the tiRes and i think my shocks may be blown
can anyone help or throw some suggestions my way...
why would a broken spring in the clutch pack shake the whole front end of teh car as i accelerate?? and if it is that what do i do to fix it would i have to get a new clutch?
axles are basically new .... or you bought the axles new ? ... also its possible for axles to go bad, take a look at them some times the boots rip right away.
I had the same thing, replaced the driver side axle and it fixed it.
could also potentially be an engine mount, did you inspect them when you did the swap?

the springs absorb vibration in the clutch. I had thought, for some reason, that you were experiencing vibration when engaging the clutch. But yes, you would have to get a new clutch if that were the case.
However, the axle is probably a more likely culprit. I had the same problem with my 5gen. It shook only under acceleration. Replaced the axle, fixed the problem.
thank you guys for all th feedback im goin to replace the driver side axle today and yes it is a brand new one lol but i was thinking it was the suspension mainly cuz wheni go over bumps in the road i hear this sound like CLAK CLAK CLAK... LOL like if it may be a blown strut or something, maybe you guys might know what this sound could be as well??
well ima change it and i will report back tomorrow although i dont understand why when i go over bumps why the axle would be making that noise, and so you guys know the axle doesnt make any noise when i turn or nothing the only i can say is that the outer boot just broke on the tranny side axle but that axle will be replaced today.... so hopefully you guys are right!!
