Shaking

Hello..

I'm getting a lot of shaking when i get to about 60mph but it calms down once i get over 70mph.. The whole car shakes..

I was told to get my wheels balanced which I did and it didn't solve the problem, also had my tracking done but that didn't work either...

Does anyone have any suggestions of where to check next?

Thanks...

maybe bad alignment? A little shaking is to be expected I think, but not too much.

alingment or even check for small dents on the rim...even if the tires are balanced...a dent can cause this and noticable at those speeds

Id have some one check to see if any of your wheels have a small dent/bend in them

I have a slight shake to the car at those speeds that I hoped would go away when I replaced my tires and had the wheels balanced and alignment. But its still there.

if it was shaking on accel, then i would say axles.

but also could be your bushings being worn out. do the other things as well (alignment)

btw, it could be your roof scoop causing the vibrations jk wit ya

Take it to an alignement shop. they will be able to tell you what it is. my guess, wheel bearing, alignment, tie rods, lower balljoint, or some bushing missing or messed up in the front suspention. Could possibly be the tires, if they are balanced, but are put on backwards (if they are rotational).

the answer to that on my car is and has always been tie rods. might jack up the front of your car, grab on to a wheel and see if it shakes a little back and forth. i have to get new ones every year or two because it sits low and it just wears them out.

had one pop on me once while i was turning at a stop sign, thank god it wasnt on the road about 1 or 2 minutes earlier.
