Service manuals

i found a service manual for a 95 prelude on e-bay, but i own a 93 Si. can i use the manual from e-bay instead of shelling out $60 for a helms? its supposedly a factory service manual

I could tell you it wont be similar interior wise among other things. But engine wise and everything else will be similar.

Just remember the manuals that will "fit" you car.

92-93 one manual
94-95 one manual - Changes in the interior and some exterior
from 92-93
96 one manual - OBD2

i would say on the safe side, no. example - when i got my jdm fogs, i looked to see where the connectors/etc were. i had a set of instructions for a 94. that said that the switch connector is in the ebrake console area. in the 92 (which i have), it's under the dash and runs up to the area behind the tweeter. even the color was different. 94 - white, 92 green. also, there seem to be a lot more screws, bolts, etc to take off when removing the bumper on the 94 than on the 92.

just one case. could be lots of other things. my advice, suck it up and buy the helms. that's what i did - best $66 (shipped) i ever spent. that plus the extra security of knowing you have a manual that was written specifically for your car.

just my $0.02
