I want to check base timing and have found the blue connector behind stereo... but now wires leading into connector! Question is, can a person jumper the correct terminals at the ECU? If the correct terminals are found, is there any danger to the ECU?

if the terminals and whats going into them are correct then I don't see why not. My guess it's ok.
