honestly, yes that is too much, mods don't help unless you get someone wanting them and they could just buy the parts because the value of our cars are about 3k-4k nowadays

it might fetch more for a h22 but its an h23

I'd guess 5-6, if you're fortunate.

You're better off parting out your car, and I'm guessing the resale value of cars in general in your area is lower than say, a bigger city like LA. I'm with Peter at 3-4K.

^ Agrees. Sell all your aftermarket stuff seperately and return your car to stock. You'll end up making a lot more in the end run.

Remember, aftermarket parts generally lower a cars resale value, not raise it! There's very few people out there who want to buy a modded car.

Oh, and if you use KBB, somewhere between their "Private Party" value and "Trade-in" is much closer to the actual value of the car. The Retail price is what a stealership would try to sell it for... You could get around 5k for your car, stock.

I agree with the other luders. $8,000 is a pretty heafty price, for that price a vtec model is very close in the price range. Same as a 5th gen, many 5th gens from 97-99 are running just a few more hundred dollars now a days. I think $4k-5k is doable.
