Seat Heaters!!

Ok, I talked with a guy from this company near me and he is a dealer of Katzkin products, including their Seat Heaters. He called me back with a quote, as $125/seat heater. Does anyone know how hard these would be to install? Because he quoted me the combined price of $200 (which includes labor). Now if I can save $75 on install, I'd be glad to do so, which may leave me extra room to do more than one seat. Thanks folks..

You might want to check out this , i was going to buy from him. The guy seems very friendly and was promt with emails. Seems that it would be pretty close to a factory setup, not sure about the switches.

i have a question

when getting heated seat stuff installed do you have to have leather???? or can you have either cloth or leather? cloth seems kind of risky as far as a fire hazard goes.

Haha!

I forgot to add.. I have cloth seats in my car, and when I called the place (which specializes in reupholstering and everything), they were quite surprised to find that I wanted to keep my cloth seats in my car and do the seat heaters. I don't think that there would be any room for fire hazard here, as the temperature of average seat heaters only reaches 115 degrees.

i have cloth seats, and they are heated, from the facotry, guess its one of those options we got in canada eh? well i have had no problems, and the do get warm, hot at times, and still no fires, its more less a heating blanket the install inside the seat, are they gonna install it in the back and bottom like stock?

if iwas you i would probably search a canadian junk yrad for a set of 4th gen heated seats, all our SR ( Si ) models came with them, and with the deal you guys get on our money you migh be further ahead that way... although $200 isnt too bad at all.... im trying to figureo ut if i buy sparcos if i can have the heaters put into them... i love my heated seats, and the heated mirrors too...

anyway

have fun

Bill
