seat belt issue

sometimes, my seat belt would be stucked, and no rolling out, i have to play around with it, slowly pulling a little by little, kind of you fishing

just wondering if Honda has lifetime warranty on it

yes, honda has lifetime warranties on all safty equipment.

Ive been meaning to bring mine in...there was word awhile ago on a recall for our seatbelts.

does the recall involve them not rolling back up after up unbuckle them?

as long as its a safty issue, it will be taken care of.

if it just doesn't roll back up, then its the dealerships call.

i think not rolling up should be considered in the seat belt lifetime warranty. go to a dealership and tell them the problem and see if it would be covered. or you can even just call.

so if my seatbelt is frayed about a 1/2 inch in from the side where it is contantly rubbed by the buckle, i can have this replaced for free? even on a 13 yr old car??

yea, i believe so. it doesnt matter how old the car is. honda doesnt want people dieing in their cars because of a "frayed" seat belt hehe. they are just being very precautious so they will service it for free.

yes, that is exactly what happened with mine. they will replace it due to it being a major safty hazard.
