Check the belt in detail for any cracking, fraying on the sides or wear of the ribs, if so then replace. If it isn't any of this just simply increase tension using the adjusters on the PS pump and alternator.

cool thanks man. sorry of this is a stupid question but is there an amount of tightening that it needs to be at or just turn the adjuster slighty>/
go ahead a put a few turns on. its not a very fine adjustment.
but if tightening doesn't help, you should replace it.
also, that "belt spray stuff" is called belt dressing and it does work if you happen to get dirt or other fluids on your belt and just want to clean it off to help stop the "screech" sound as a short term solution
Yeah my belt stretched slightly after doing an engine swap which all new belts do and I just kept doing it a little bit each day until no more squeal. There is a tool to inspect belt deflection and every belt does have a recommended amount but unless your a mechanic this tool probably wouldn't be worth buying.

I turn the tension bolt clockwise right? I did that today but im worried if i did it too tight and something might break...should i be worried
You can damage the bearing in the alternator if you put WAY too much tension on that belt. If you really torqued the hell out of it, you may want to back it off a bit.
