Say it isn't so...do I need to remove my door??

I had a minor fender bender which shattered my passenger side headlight and bent the part of the fender right next to the headlight

Bodyshop said $600 cdn to fix (I assume to melt it and reshape it plus paint) Anywho, I bought a fender off some guy for $90us shipped and I was trying to change them tonight

The Honda Service manual I have doesn't say how to remove the fender, but I figured it out like I always do, but there are 2 bolt near the inside of the door..I can't seem to access them Theres not enough space for my torque wrench. Does this mean the door has to come off to I hope not...

its been a while since i did this so im sorry if i forget something

-first take off the front bumper...
-then the headlight
-that will give you access to the bolts in the front
-then you need to take off the side skirt...there will be 2(i think) bolts there under the fender
-then get to the bolts that u can see between the door and the fender (you may need to get creative with sockets to get these)
-then go ahead and take the bolts out under the hood for the fender

that i believe is all you need to do...

you will need a 10mm for the bolts holding on the fender.
10mm bolts on headlight

oh on the front bumper...
first remove the bumperlights to gain access to the 14mm(maybe 12mm) bolts that hold the bumper to the frame. there should be 4 bolts total that you need to take out from the front...then there is 2 12mm(or 14mm) nuts that you need to take out from the engine compartment...one on each side (1 is in front of the battery so you may need to take that out. the other is easier to get to.

everything else should be self explainatory, let me know if you need anymore help

good luck

Thank you, thanks you, thank you

Thanks alot...

Yeah, basically it looks like I need to get creative with the 2 bolts between the door and fender...I'll try an borrow some flat wrenches from someone cause theres no space with the torque wrench..

thanks again
