Save me from zip ties...

I am currently upgrading my suspension for my 92 Si from Bilstiens to Konis... Part of the install for the Konis asks to take a part from the old shock and use it on the new Konis - its the piece that secures the brake line to the shock. The problem is that part is removable on a stock shock, but its welded on the Bilsteins. I have asked the dealer and some local honda parts stores for this item but nobody has one.
I know i could use zipties - but that would look like sh!t.
Does anybody have a old set of stock shocks lying around the garage and would be willing to help me out?

i actually do have a set of old stock shocks sitting around and they wont be going back on. only one problem, there at my parents house and i live about four hours from there. i'm planning on being there the weekend of the 15th. so if you can hold off for about 3 weeks i can part with them. if its something you need immediately i'm afraid i wont do you any good. your call.

What Konis did you get? I have only used Koni's on my preludes and they never required me to remove that piece from the stock strut. The Koni unit should have the brake line piece already on the shock. I would double check the part numbers or call Koni direct about that.
