A friend of mine w/ a 4th Gen was going to do this, b/c some dick ripped his antenna off near Hermosa Beach, Ca. He heard that it should fit no problem, but never actually bought the part b/c he was too lazy. You might try searching this topic, b/c I think it's come up in the past ... those antennas look pretty cool.

They do look cool. And they are 100 bucks. I don't think it will work.

And that's if you get it to work with your stock wire and everything. If you do the total swap you are looking over 200 bucks.

I don't think it will work cause the angle on the 4th gen mast and the S2000 is completely different. The S2K is more flat.

Where there's a will, there's a way ... for EVERYTHING. Just look at all the finished products of tail/head light swaps ... you really can make ANYTHING work.

you want it at the top of the rear window in the center correct?

If so It's pretty easy, the ant cable comes from the dash, just remove the strap downs and slide it up the rear pilar, you will have to remove the headliner and pilar for cutting the hole

The S2000 antenna is an amplified antenna... it will have piss poor reception if you dont install a signal booster also.

Could be that box, not sure.

I know somebody who put the S2k antenna in a Miata nad it sucked ass... till he installed a signal booster.
I don't know if the S2000 radio is the booster, or if its a seperate piece. I would assume that its seperate to allow for aftermarket radios, but you will need the amp.

EDIT:
Yes, im pretty sure that is the box, it hass 2 wires running to it, looks like the antenna wire and power, like a switched amp, running from the radio.
A replacement mast would be cheaper.

Ive got a s2000 aerial on my ITR, by mixing and matching the s2000 aerial and the prelude base you can fit it at the right angle..

As or reception its as good as OEM!!! thats with no amplifier!!

Oh yeah, if you're thinking of using an antenna on your front or rear window, watch out. Those types of antennas are extremely directional. Meaning, you could have good reception driving one direction & have it turn crappy driving the other direction.
