?'s about theory of susp setup...

Ok,
So I have a Front strut bar now and I am very soon adding neuspeed sports springs and 5th gen struts all around. After
that I plan on add suspention techniques Sway bars.

Now the questions:

Would I benefit from a Lower rear tie bar or a Upper rear strut bar??

And with the lower rear tie bar doesn't that defeat the point of getting a rear sway bar?

I appreciate all explainations of how this will affect my overall handling

uhm i cant tell you specifics for a 4g, but i can tell you specifics on principal. First, 5g struts (assuming you mean stock) arent going to last for any amount of time, if you're lowering the car. Switching the spring weight will blow your shocks. The way i've read into the situation is that the lower rear tie bar is cosmetic(due to chasis reinforcement) on the 5g and essential on the 4g. I dont know about the upper tie in relation to a 4g. However, i can tell you, the sway bar will do more for you than any tie bar can. The tie bar takes care of most 'average' flex, where the sway bar locks down everything and strengthens the chasis (?)

i'm definately tired so i could be rambling.

dont bother getting 5th gen strut the most important thing for suspension is your spring/strut combo. Instead of getting a rear tie bar, which is pretty pointless, get some kybs or the other cheap brand of shocks.
