Rust problem

I have rust on around the top of both my rear wheel arches, 3-4 inches long, and with bubbles. There's also some rust around the bottom end of the passenger door at the edge.

What are my options to repair it, and cost etc? If i go to the body shop what i they likely to suggest?. I just dont wanna get ripped off.

Thanks in advance

HONDA CANCER!! =[
i had it and my estimate from macco was about 2400...
then i posted an ad on craigslist about looking for a painter and waiting till i found a guy i could trust and got a pretty sick paint job for a grand

a body shop butt **** you and take your money when they do body work...wayy expensive. but the only thing i didnt like was not knowing the guys kinda of work and not having a waranty but still...it was cheaper...and i got lucky he was good.

The correct way to fix the rust is to cut out the affected metal and then shape and weld a new piece in its place (unless the panel can be replaced). If you just sand it down, bondo it, and paint over, the paint will eventually start bubbling up again
