Rust on oil pan

Should I be worried about the big rust spot on my oil pan?

I would. What if you forget that it's there and it develops into a hole and your oil slowly but surely leaks out?

I'm not worried about it slowly leaking out, I'm worried about it busting wide open while I'm driving. I check my oil weekly and I'd sure notice an oil puddle. Plus, I don't drive it much so a slow leak is the least of my worries.
