Running Lean...

okay, i just pulled my plugs because of some hesitation to see what they looked like. there's carbon on the end of the threaded part, none on the electrode, but on the tip (that hooks up and over the electrode) its dry and white. which is a sign of running lean, right? I do race with these plugs, they are what i use all the time, and only had them in about 6 months. NGK Iridiums which are guaranteed for 250,000 miles. How can i tell for sure if i a running lean and how can i correct it?

Your plugs are more than likely fine. A little white color isn't that bad of a thing...when you start seeing white SPECS, that could mean detonation (due to running lean, or many other possibilities for that matter.) What I'd suggest to you, is if you're really worried about your a/f ratio and whatnot, then get the car on a wideband O2 and figure out. Are you still having the hesitation problem? Could you describe it to me please?

My car did the same thing. All i did was use some fuel injector cleaner and it cured the problem.

Just to give you a perspective of how many diff. possibilities there are with "hesitation". My car was sputtering about a week ago REALLY bad at partial throttle, and it ended up being the rotor in the distributor. I changed it out, and everything was perfect with the car again. So see? It's not always fuel related, although your's sounds like it is, considering it does it at a certain rpm and only at sporatic moments.
