RS*R titanium exhuast

Anyone else heard of this? I was told on another forum that RS*R will be making a titanium exhaust system for the 4th gen lude. It's supose to have "race inspired" connections. In otherwords the pieces of pipe fit inside eachother and are held together by springs to allow for heat expansion and save weight on flanges. Thoughts? Insight? Anyone know were I can buy it?

According to www.rs-r.com, it is still under construction. Sounds interesting tho. But i am still currently happy with my Greddy SP.

How does the GReddy sp sound? Is it noisy or quiet? Did you feel any gains with the sp? Kinda curious since this exhaust is one of the ones im looking into.

The GReddy SP is the nicest sounding exhaust I've ever heard on a Prelude. NOT ONE HINT of raspiness, completely deep and clean sport note. A mellow deep sound, not overwheliming.

Word...i believe that a titanium exhaust will definitely save you some weight, but get ready to pay a hefty price for it. Heres a pic of my SP....

I would love a Jun titanium but they run about 500 for the exhaust

save weight on flanges? Geez, do those things weigh like 10 lbs. or something? How much could you save to make a difference?

JUN makes a titanium exhuast!?! OH SNAP SON! Where can I get that? as for you haters telling me I should simply take a dump I'll have you know I am a practitioner of the "race donkey" that one final poo before hitting the track.... face it lighter cars: go faster, stop sooner, and turn harder.

You can get the exhaust through inlinefour for about $430 plus tax. I once saw one on ebay for $250 and I am kicking myself for not getting it

Mike95lude: Nobody else can better describe about Greddy SP than you do. I've just put one on along with AEM CAI and DC Headers.

LUDE'Z: Like Mike said, Greddy SP sounds great. I personally don't like noisy exhaust. As far as the gain is concerned, I can't tell you just for Greddy SP. I had a mod about 3 weeks ago on my '92 Si and put on AEM CAI, DC 4-2-1 CC Headers and Greddy SP Cat-back. The gain was 14 WHP!!

Stock: 133.8 WHP @ 5600 rpm, 130.0 Ft-lbs@4750 rpm
After Mod: 147.9 WHP @ 6200 rpm, 139.7 Ft-lbs @ 5250 rpm

Here is a picture of Greddy SP on my '92 Si.

The Greddy SP is nice, but I want an HKS sport. My buddy put one on his car, and it was quieter than my car.
