RPM's Auto

For those of you with auto's what are your rpm's at cruising at 60 on a flat road? I was just wondering if 3k was normal or not. When I'm driving in friends car's say for instance a 98 accord, his rpm's are only around 2400 at 60? going 70 my rpm's are near 3500

my rpm at 80 mph used to be around 4k but after the manual swap, it's at 4500 at 80 mph. i was wondering if it was because i'm using h22 tranny on my h23 motor? anyone know?

It's all about the gearing..accord's are geared for fuel economy & preludes are geared more for performance.....
