RPM dependent rattle

I'm getting an odd RPM dependent rattle from under the hood. It seems to only do it when in gear. It'll rattle at about 2500-2800 RPMs, and then again, worse, at 5000-5600ish RPMs. Any ideas?

cracked header bracket, header heat shield bolts, exhaust heat shield... try opening the throttle with your hand with the hood open and see if you can locate the sound. if you have a dc header, the bracket right before the flex pipe breaks very easily and will rattle like crazy.

actually now that I think about it, that bracket by the flex pipe would crack with just about any header because it's the oem bracket that breaks. I think mine broke with the oem header and then again with my dc installed. the second time it broke i just left it off. and it made that rattle like you described between 2k-3k rpm.

I had this rattle too.. I spent months testing and searching and it ended up being the downpipe bracket like everyone else has said... Check to see if its cracked or broken.. Mine was cracked and it was enough to drive me crazy..
