How do i fix it im so sad. I think it got like that cause i got run into and it messed up the whole front right fender.... If any of you guys have a passanger fender. Let me know.
I don't see how you could repair that one particular stud since it's bonded to the metal to begin with. I suppose you could either shave the rest of the studs to even the length, do a 5 lug conversion like you said, or replace that one hub all together.
the wheel studs are pressed into the hub. You need to remove the hub and take it to a shop to have the old ones pressed out and the new ones pressed in.
Shouldn't cost you anymore then 20.00 bucks if you disassemble the suspension your self and take the hub in.

It's easier to find an open-ended lug nut that fits and "pull" the stud through from the front side. One of my front wheels has been running on 3 lugs for over a year now with zero problems, but I only drove 3000 miles in the last year.
Actually, it's not as simple as just removing the hub. I had to do this, and you have to remove the bearing as well. When you remove the bearing, 9 times out of 10 you have to replace it. The front wheel bearings are about 90 bucks. If you're interested in the five lug conversion, you can definately get each side for less than 90 bucks ( and you don't have to take anything to a shop to have done). And yeah, you do have to remove the caliper and rotor. It's not a big deal, even if you did just replace your pads. You're not gonna hurt them.
According to this, rear brake, it looks like the hub and bearing is one piece. Is it all one piece together or they just made look that way?
But for the front brakes, its obvious that the hub and bearing are 2 different parts.
Since I have a broken stud in the back, is the rear hub and bearing one part or are they 2 separate parts?
Also, why the bearing get damaged? is there any way to take care of it when taking it out?

All the guy at honda told me was that if you take the rotor off, and turn the hub, theres actually a little opening on the brake shield were you can punch the stud through. Then, dremel one side of the thicker part on the stud, to make it fit back in easier, use an open ended lugnut and pull that sucker through.
Pretty sure my replacement went something like that... but I wasnt there to see it..

I kinda noticed that opening on the shield. but why would you dremel one side of the thicker part of the stud?

that is true, i broke one stud, and i went to get it fix, and well they snap off two more studs trying to get the rim off. and so they said, **** it, we will replace all 4, and i paid for 4 new stud which i rather do then pay for 3 cause the last one was near **** up too
edit, the people i went to get it done at, since i didnt' have the tools, didnt' replace my bearing at all. is there a chance that i might be **** up? and if so, how can you tell?

ok... so what parts do i need for a 5 lug conversion... Cause i think im just gonna switch to that, cause i like the stock 5th gen rims on the 4th gen. What parts do i need, cause i think im going to run on 3 lugs untill i do it.
for some reason I seem to break one of thses studs every six months or so. It's actually pretty easy to do......never took me more than a half hour. I've had to do it twice in the front and once in the rear.
