Are ripples in the carbon fiber hood normal? You can only see them at certain angles. I was trying to avoid this, I remember seeing a non-rippled cf hood on a 240SX once at school. I was originally going to get Fiber Images because I heard it was the best, but the the shop I was ordering from convinced me to get Seibon because they said it fits the best. What do you guys think?

It's normal to a certain degree. Depends who the manufacturer is. My VIS hood has perfect weave, not that you can see it anymore since I painted it.
