OK, well im sure someone has already done this but i cant find it, i really want to do a RHD conversion and would like to know what in all it would take i can get the clip for dirt ****ing cheap but need to know what it would take. thanks
I would think the hardest part is going to be welding the jdm front end to the USDM frame. since the firewall is different, etc. it would be a ton of modification.
i wouldnt recommend wlding the jdm front end to your your car...your car will ever drive straight...youd probabaly cut and swap firewall and change all all parts needed for conversion....dash etc. etc.

apparently im a junior member although ive been here since december 2000...ehh go figure
firewall....dash...steering column....dont u need a new master cylinder, etc. i dunno. lots of stuff. u would definetly not just weld on a new front end = bad idea.
all the holes are already there for the swap. all you have to do is get a complete front clip and take out what is there, and replace it with everything off of the clip. the firewalls are all stamped the same, and then on the assembly line they are determined LHD or RHD, and they fill in the holes with plugs and other components like a/c lines and wiring harness entry points.

i started to do it on my crx, got about halfway done with it and then had to sell it. it feels really wierd sitting on that side of the car and driving though b/c the left side seems soooooooo much bigger than the right side does when you drive from the left(if that makes sense).

Your wiring harnesses are different lengths. Think of your wires coming from the relay going to the tail lights and stuff. Not to mention what are you going to tell your insurance co if it gets in a wreck? I know the cover some modifications, but one of that maginute, i think you would be out of a lot of time and effort

that is all that is required. i hear the prelude firewall isnt that bad to cut and weld up. i have 50% of the parts for the conversion
hgaha i know what is needed for the entire conversion, but i tose all the useless crap i didtn want away cause i didnt want the conversion.
parts from the front, supsion, you need the wheel control thing, and i beleive one more peice, you need a stearing column, which i got laying around. also you would need a rhd dash.
basicly it beside cut and welding. check out some company that bring int clip, and sometimes they will sell just the motor and leave the rest. i know wehre i can get the whole front clip minus motor and headlight and some parts
