i have the jdm one pieces and the current lights im using is pretty dim. i was wondering if it would be ok to connect the wires to the high beam filament and just use that instead of my low beams. would that send too much current through my wires and mess up the wires? like would it be safe to use it for my car?

cool thanx. i just wanna make sure its safe to do it. i know how, i just want to make sure it wont melt my wires if i leave it on for an extended period of time or something.

i have mine that way and i think it shoots the beam higher, because my beams are high and people always flash me

well, YEAH! the high beam is adjusted to be aimed higher, if its constantly on if thats what you mean of course people are going to hate it! If your light output on lows sucks, adjust the low beam reflector, and buy brighter bulbs like GE knighthawk. No blue nonsence, just brighter, whiter, light.

thats all very nice but ide still like to know the answer to my question. i know the repercussions of make the h4 bulbs work on high beams.

there is the chance that you could melt the harness as it is not designed for the power output of the h4 bulb.

usually if you have a dim bulb, and replacing it doesn't help, then you might have to replace/recharge your battery or alt.
