Request for a picture of the taillight's plug
A backstory. 92 honda prelude
Whenever I step on my brakes, only my driver's side tail lights light up, and my passenger does not. I have checked to see if there is electricity going into the tail light and there is.
However, I've noticed that my driver's side tail light's plug (the connection that you plug with the car's electrical wiring) has an additional metal pin in it that takes in the signals from when the brakes are pressed.
My passenger side however, is missing that metal pin in the plug.
So, I would to request for any one with a prelude in this generation to go and take a picture of their passenger side tail lights connection plug. Specifically, top down to see how many metal pins there are.
My driver's side has 6 pins (3 in the bottom row, 3 top row) while my passenger side only has 5 pins (3 top, 2 bottom (missing the one in the middle).
I want to see if it's normal like this, or if my passenger's side connection pin had broken off at a certain point.
Thanks!
