replacing master clutch cylinder...

how hard is it? I think mine is going.. a few months back it had a small leak and i've just been toping it off every few months. Now it's full and my clutch feels.. mushy.

So is this something that's too difficult to pull off?

anyone have any tutorials??

thanks

It's really straight forward. The only part that can be difficult is removing the clevis pin that secures the pedal assembly to the cylinder. There is very limited room to work under the dash, so it can be complicated to get the pin out or reach the nuts bolting the cylinder to the firewall.

it is pretty simple, parts wise: two mount bold, the clevis and it's bolt, and a hose clamp. like red92 said, the clevis is a pain. it took a few tools and ingenuity to get mine out, but i have a tecnique down for it. i'd make sure the slave cylinder is in good order, too. that way you can just change both out, bleeding the lines once.
