Removing the passenger sided panels - Honda Prelude Forum

I have a littel trouble removing the back panels. I took out the screw behind the foam but I'm still haveing a little trouble removing the latches. The latch I'm really having trouble with is the one located next to the door. I can see that it is being held with some sort of presure insert but it looks like I might break it if I pull any harder.

What panels are you talking about? Interior panels?

If you're talking about the two rear interior panels next to the seat, you remove the screw closest to the door, and the one right down by the lower rear corner, and pull on the panel, carefully, but forcefully, until the pressure release tabs pop out. Just don't pull too quickly w/ too much force, or you may crack something.

It won't be hard. I fooled around w/ this after pulling the first one out, just to make sure I didn't break anything...it's easy. You just put the panel back in place, and pop each pressure joint back into place, and replace the screws...
